An Army of Lovers
“I stood in those crowds, sang along with Meg Christian and Casse Culver and women who played rock & roll and bluegrass and all the music that echoed in my bloodstream. Jamie Anderson has caught the lightning and put it on the page.” - Dorothy Allison

Praise for An Army of Lovers
"An Army of Lovers is an epic undertaking to summarize a vast movement that changed the course of women’s roles in the music industry. Jamie Anderson covers the breadth of the women’s music historical narrative beautifully. But it is through her personal interviews with workers, producers and performers that makes this book a wild romp through those crazy magical times and a must read." - Sue Fink
